Transforming the historic Promenade Park, enhancing it with modern amenities while preserving its riverside charm included new concrete paving and sidewalks as well as granite curbing and paver brick roads & walkways. A centerpiece of the revitalized park is the striking granite water fountain which has quickly become a favorite spot for families and visitors to relax and enjoy the scenic river views. The park’s redesign also incorporated tiered concrete seating areas, providing comfortable spaces for gatherings and events
Establishing a direct connection between the Steam Plant and the nearby Parking Garage helped to improve overall site functionality and pedestrian flow. These improvements have modernized what is now known as ProMedica Park while honoring its historic significance, creating an inviting public space.
