City of Maumee Fire & EMS Station

The $6.2 million dollar project constructed by Spieker Co. gave the City of Maumee a new Fire Station in an ideal location. The new Fire/EMS Station is over 30,000 square feet, which is split between administrative and apparatus areas. The station’s apparatus bay has seven bays with plenty of room for the department’s equipment as well as space to conduct their duties even during harsh weather.

The station’s administrative area has 14 dorm rooms, a day room, a work-out zone, a full kitchen, bathrooms and showers, offices and training rooms. The building also contains a 8,500 square foot basement for storage and future office expansion. Ground broke on the new facility in October of 2006 and was completed on schedule in September 2007.
