University of Toledo Health Services Orthopaedic Center

This $5.8 million dollar project designed by Harley Ellis Devereaux and constructed by The Spieker Co. is a state-of-the-art building geared to a comprehensive patient-centered experience. The new Orthopaedic Center is equipped with the latest imagining and radiology capabilities, which contains over thirty exam and procedure rooms, three X-Ray rooms, and Physical Therapy and Patient Education areas. Construction began in October 2006 on the 22,000 square foot aluminum curtain wall and metal panel skinned building. This building had an aggressive schedule and demanding conditions but was completed in ten months, on time and in budget. For this project, Spieker was selected as a finalist in the 2008 Build Ohio Awards for new construction, under $7 million category.
