Toledo School for the Arts: Next Big Thing

Being a part of the $10 million dollar expansion at Toledo School for the Arts with Rudolph Libbe Group was a great project to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the school in 2023. The Spieker Company held the general trades portion which included metal panels, door/frames/hardware, overhead doors, flooring, casework and a sky deck ceiling system for the 26,000 sf addition. The Next Big Thing included a new annex with a black box studio, which enables TSA to hold a variety of performances for smaller audiences. The new dance studio was built free of barriors & building columns and the upgraded school store also serves as an art gallery to showcase the talented students work. The community portal includes the student gallery, makers space, school store and kiln studio that are open to the public enabling the community more access to the resources of TSA.
